Life Verse? Ephesians 5:1-2 “Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.”

If you could eat anything for a year, what would it be? Surf and turf – Alaskan King Crab and Steak

Hobbies? Hunting, fishing, anything outdoors

Favorite place to be? In the mountains or in church on Sunday morning

Weirdest job you’ve ever had? Put myself through college spreading liquid manure

Favorite part of ministry? Seeing people “get it” and watch their lives change as they learn who Christ is on a personal level.

Titus and Jackie Bergren – Chi Alpha

Life/Favorite Verse? I have never been organized enough to have a ‘life verse’, but one that I have allowed to deeply challenge and impact me is Galatians 2:20–I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.  This really sums up my faith and the foundation I stand on.  I guess I do have a life verse after all!

How long have you served at the church? We moved to Butte January 1st 2009 to start Chi Alpha at Montana Tech.  Pastor Randy and Tammy quickly became people we trusted and loved.

If you could eat anything for a year, what would it be? I have had to remain gluten and dairy free for the past 3.5 years!  Let’s stop talking about actual good food because it’s rare in my life now…LASAGNA!

Hobbies? With 3 younger kids, my time, energy and money go to hanging with them, so anything that my family can gather around would be a hobby to me (camping stands out in my mind).  The things that have still found room in my life are Archery hunting(hiking with a bow in my hands), anything done in the company of friends or family.

Favorite place to be? Favorite place would be where ever the company of close friendships are.  I don’t travel much, although God is opening my heart for travel more and more!

Weirdest job you’ve ever had/weird fact? Not a weird job in general, but the weirdest job for my personality was the month I worked on a drilling rig outside of Havre Montana.  I was hired as a temporary for a guy who had other obligations for that time-frame.  Drilling rigs are way out of my comfort zone and area of knowledge!  I dropped a nut in the BOP right after my friend Lance told me not to…I guess that could have been really bad if he hadn’t made a mad dash to fish it out of the slime and mud!  I lasted the entire month i was hired for but it helped me know it wasn’t for me!

Ministry passions? Favorite part of ministry? Our call to go and make disciples is always on my heart.  I want to equip each person in the family to be used in the work of ‘going and making disciples’.  It’s exciting to challenge and equip people (especially young people) to turn their spiritual gifts, talents, passions, and desires into meaningful spirit-filled worship and ministry!  I believe that kind of life-pursuit is a great picture of becoming a living sacrifice.

Life/Favorite Verse? “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth”  Psalms 46:10

How long have you served at the church?  Since January 2009

If you could eat anything for a year, what would it be? Bark Thins Dark Chocolate!  Yum!

Hobbies? I really enjoy taking pictures, decorating and organizing.

Favorite place to be? Anywhere that I’m with family and close friends

Weirdest job you’ve ever had/weird fact? The toilet paper MUST roll from the top!

Ministry passions? Favorite part of ministry?  I really enjoy discipleship through one to ones.  It is amazing to watch people understand and live out God’s Word.

Troy King – Children’s Pastor

Life Verse/Favorite Verse? Not sure that I have just one, but here are two verses that I like to live by: Romans 15:20 – “It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known…” & Proverbs 22:6 – “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

How long have you served at the church? Since July 2015

If you could eat anything for a year, what would it be? I have never really had that one food that I really love that I would eat for a year, so it would just have to be food.

Hobbies? Watching/playing any kind of sport (especially football), reading, hanging out with friends, and basically anything active. I don’t like to sit still for a really long time.

Favorite place to be? Well I have been to a lot of different places and each one has its bright spots and low lights but I don’t think that I have that one place that I would call my favorite place to be, unless you count going on a missions trip. Then that is my answer.

Weird fact? A weird fact about me that I don’t know if it will happen, but I really want it to, is that I really want to go to Africa. It is the only one of the habitable continents that I have yet to go to. I would also like to go to Antartica, not sure if that will ever happen but that would be awesome if it does.

Favorite part of ministry? My favorite part of ministry, besides simply working with Kids and seeing them experience God for themselves, is working with the upper elementary aged kids (4th, 5th, and 6th grade) and helping them to develop their faith for themselves and not rely on their parents. I love being able to help them find out who Jesus is and what he means to them. I also really like to help them get involved in ministering to their peers.

Tammy Lindgren – Youth Pastor

Life/Favorite Verse? Isaiah 43:1-2 “But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”

How long have you served at the church? Since August 2013

If you could eat anything for a year, what would it be? Chinese food (real Chinese food, not the American version) or ice cream

Hobbies? Reading, going to classes at the Y, watching movies, spending time with friends (doing all of those things!)

Favorite place to be? Anywhere with good friends!

Weirdest job you’ve ever had/weird fact? I worked at a zoo! That definitely involved weird things sometimes, but it was also pretty awesome.

Ministry passions? Favorite part of ministry? I love seeing people cross that line from knowing who Jesus is to living a life completely surrendered to Him. And I love missions trips! Overseas and in country. I just love seeing how God uses people, challenges people, and changes people when they step out in faith!
